Tented Private Estate Wedding in Park City, Utah

Weddings

When Austin-based couple Carmella and Oliver decided to tie the knot in Park City, Utah, they knew they wanted something vibrant, personal, and full of unforgettable moments. Hosted at their family home in The Colony, this tented destination wedding was as stylish as it was joyful, proving that a little rain can only add to the magic.

The day started with colorful energy, thanks to the bridesmaids’ mismatched dresses in bold, vibrant hues and florals by Artisan Bloom. Inspired by the mountain landscape, the arrangements featured pops of blue and pink that perfectly complemented the natural surroundings. With Melissa Fancy at the helm, every detail was thoughtfully planned to reflect the couple’s style.

Just as the bride walked down the aisle, the skies opened up, and everyone—including the couple—got a good shower. But instead of letting it dampen the mood, they embraced it, calling the moment “magical.” It was one of those perfectly imperfect memories that made the day even more special, and certainly memorable.

The reception featured a mix of elegant seating options scattered throughout the backyard and under two clear-top tents that allowed guests to feel connected to nature as the evening progressed. Live cooking stations and passed aperol spritzes following the ceremony meant guests never went hungry or thirsty. As the rain cleared, the mountains served as a stunning backdrop for the evening’s festivities. Carmella’s second look by Oh Polly was the perfect vibe for the nonstop dance floor.

And just when we thought the night couldn’t get any more fun, Carmella and Oliver ended the night by jumping into their pool, wedding attire and all.

If you’re dreaming of a tented wedding in Park City, this celebration proves you can mix bold design, natural beauty, and a sense of fun to create a day that feels like you.
